Got to get moving!

Well this past week we didn't get as much done on the house projects as we had planned. Hopefully this coming week we can finish up the last couple things. Now, funwise it has been a good week, with halloween and visiting.

Early in the week it was the usual stuff; getting the kids to school and doing house hold chores. We have had more delays on getting the washer fixed as well. Turns out the extended warrenty people didn't give approval for the mileage for the call out. The repair company called to get more info and to let us know they had to submit the mileage request then wait for the extended warrenty people to get back to them before booking the appointment. Here is hoping it is something they can fix easy when they finally get here so we won't be waiting weeks to months for parts. Thank goodness for a family member near by who is letting us use their washer so I don't have to pay more then 30 dollars every week. The kids enjoyed their school days and were very excited for the halloween parties their classes had. Our sons was on Wednesday and our Daughter had hers on the Friday. Then came the weekend!

Saturday was productive, we went visiting/washed laundry, cleaned the house, James finished a project and had company out later in the evening. It was a very busy day. The friends who came out came to see if the northern lights would be visible out here. We can go dark by turning off all our lights. The only lights you see are from the towns and cities. It was a very clear night so we saw the stars very well but the northern light forecast changed and ended up not being able to see it here. We still had a lot of fun!

Now for the project James finished! He completed the cold air return vent cover! Now it looks very pretty and we no longer have to worry about dog toys going down inside. Here are the pictures that wouldn't load last week as well.

The new vent cover attached, but it was a little smaller then the whole so next was to add the trim around.

And with the trim on! Doesn't it look great? Now we just need to paint!

Then it was Halloween! The kids and us went to a friends house to go trick or treating with their friends! They did 4 blocks! Plus we took them in to visit with our neighbor from Didsbury! They had so much fun and got way to much candy for two kids. I forgot to get pictures from the night so will have to text the friend we went with for the one she took,

Now here we are on Monday! Our new light for the bedroom arrived on Friday, so today James installed it! If I can get the photos to load you too can enjoy the beauty of the light! The part I will like the best is the flickering and mind disturbing strobing the previous light did. We couldn't even use it most of the time.

So much better!

This coming weeks goal is to finish the wood wall. We had planned to do it Saturday but got distracted by cleaning for company! Now I am off to go look at my new pretty light again! Talk to you all later!

Kids Corner!

Our Daughter: Well she wanted to add something pre getting upset about her modelling clay not drying....or I should say that we told her it won't dry as it isn't meant to. So we will try again next week.

Our Son: We got cat books! I got a ninjago book with a ninjago lego character! (they had their scholastic book fair at school today).

Bye.
