Hi, sorry kinda dropped a heavy post on you guys and disappeared for a month. Nothing bad has happened, just got busy. Well I will start on the update with James health.
So far no changes. He hasn't had a break through infection since the last one. He has been checking off all the things he needs to do before he can be listed on the transplant list. He has knocked an impressive amount of things off the list! Just a few more and a few months then he should be done with everything needed before we meet the team in Sept., who will list him, then we start that portion of the process.
Now update on me. I have been very fatigued, struggling to stay awake when driving and keeping up with daily tasks. Needless to say with a husband who is chronically ill and also fatigued this has been a problem. It has gotten a lot worse in the last 6 months so I went back to the doctor and wanted to go off my migraine meds (cause drowsiness). He wanted me to get tested for sleep apnea before I go off to make sure that isn't the problem. I have had an increase in headaches and migraines along with the fatigue. I also got a steriod inhalar for my asthma for the first time in 3 years. My breathing during the day has been bad for the last year and I gave in, It has made a huge improvement.... so maybe I shouldn't have stopped the last time! I am also regretting stopping all my allergy meds(also makes me tired). I have been so itchy and have had rashes(hives) more easily. Goodbye breathing through my nose. Here is to hoping it is sleep apnea as it is an easy fix! That test is next week as my doctor wanted me to get in as soon as possible.
The kids are currently away at my parents house! They are having the time of their lives and even got to see their new baby cousin today! My brother's girlfriend gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on Canada Day! We won't be forgetting his birthday!
The garden is in much the same state. I have started to get one of the boxes that got built. We need to buy some dirt to finish filling it. Then it will be onto box two. James is out spraying the weeds right now with the kiddos gone! Yay, dead weeds! Otherwise I have been so tired. My dad came and helped a couple weekends ago and we got a lot of weed wacking and such done (on Father's day weekend). Thank goodness for awesome parents! My mom came down the next weekend to help with the garden. Thanks to them I am only slightly behind thanks to them! I keep up with the mowing! Thanks again to my dad getting the mower and tractor up and running! My irises are blooming despite me not getting to the weeds in that garden! They are beautiful!
Deck! The wood is ordered! Once that arrives at least I can give a great update! Also we will be doing a fence repair weekend! We could use some help to knock it out as fast as possible with the least amount of exhaustion kicking us after. If anyone has the time, we will provide food and beverages! I will let you know when the date is set!
