I am once again sorry that this is late. I am no longer going to promise the weekly blog especially now that it is winter so we have less projects going on. The last couple weeks have been so busy. Well, let us jump right in then shall we.
The weekend after the last blog the kids went to our best neighbours house when we lived at our old house for a sleep over! James and I then got a date night! The kids had a lot of fun and we got a lot of quiet! Then after picking them up we took them to the Parade of Lights in Olds with friends! We went for supper then went back to the friends house to watch the fireworks! It was awesome and so much fun! Of course we had then planned to take Sunday to have some quiet time, but as usual we didn't. There was cleaning, playing, etc. Then came Monday.
Monday, the day we were to have the washing machine repair people out to hopefully fix or at the very least figure out what parts and how long it would take to fix the problem. We are now 5 weeks into having a leaking washing machine. I stayed home all morning hauling the phone all over the house with me. Then James came home as I had to go to work. He manned the phone and waited all afternoon. I picked up the kids from school when I was done work and came home hoping for news. They didn't show. Now we assumed they ran out of time and couldn't make it and would call the next day to re book. Did they call? No they didn't. James called Friday to ask what is up. Do you know what they said?!? Do you?!? They said that no one was home, no one answered the phone after multiple attempts to call both numbers on file. The person LIED! A total waste of a day and no progress on the fixing front, So we re-booked for the 6th since we are going through extended warranty and don't have a choice. They then had the audacity to ask us to make sure someone would be home that day! *insert swearing*. We were not the problem. I mean they could have just said they didn't have time. And as some of you are probably wondering, well maybe they had the wrong address or numbers, but nope we checked with them when James called to see what was going on.
Now on the plus side our security camera for our driveway has arrived and if they don't show on the 6th we will have video proof. Then we will be going to extended warranty to just pay out money so we can get a new washer from Otto's as this is taking way to long. Another plus; all our Lego orders arrived, my flour order from Amazon arrived so we can make things! I have to start my Christmas baking soon. Ahh now that the rage is once again subsided back to the week.
That same Friday, Barb and Chris, arrived for a visit! The got here about supper time and the kids were very excited. We had a lunch with other family as well to celebrate a bunch of the birthdays coming up. 6 birthdays in total in November and December. Then James and I got another date night, I know, it is like seeing a unicorn, this never happens. We met friends for dinner then went to see Ghost busters: Afterlife! Awesome movie! The kids got Grandparent night with breakfast for supper! Then Sunday Barb and Chris went home and we all crashed. Now it is Monday again. Now you are all up to date. Sorry I don't have any pictures for this blog, too tired to prep any. Well talk to you all later and maybe even on Monday next week, if I have not lost my mind waiting for the repair people. Bye.
